About Navitale

Navitale is a cross-platform museum app designed to make cultural visits more engaging and accessible. It offers personalized audio guides tailored to visitor needs, multimedia exhibit content, and intuitive navigation – transforming the way visitors explore collections.

About Personit

At Personit, we help startups and scaling businesses move from idea to real product — up to 5x faster than traditional dev teams. We specialize in low-code platforms and AI-powered development.

Challenge

The client provided an app design with a vision for a modern museum solution. During workshops, we collaboratively defined the MVP scope, key flows, and functionalities. The client needed an app that could:

  • Work smoothly without internet connection
  • Present content in multiple languages
  • Personalize audio guides based on visitor needs (group type, available time, detail level)
  • Guide visitors intuitively through exhibits
  • Be updated easily by museum staff without technical skills
  • Work on both smartphones and tablets
Key to the project was finding the balance between ambitious features and realistic implementation timeline. Together with the client, we went through a Discovery workshop where we:
  • Defined key user flows from onboarding to audio guide playback
  • Recommended technical simplifications to speed up MVP delivery
  • Proposed additional features providing high value with low effort (MoSCoW method)
  • Set priorities: Must have, Should have, Could have, Won't have

And we had to deliver a ready app in 5 weeks.

Discovery First

The client provided the app design, but collaborative workshop was crucial. Together with the client's team, we:

  • Analyzed provided designs and defined key user flows
  • Determined MVP scope and set feature priorities using MoSCoW method (Must, Should, Could, Won't have)
  • Proposed technical simplifications to speed up project delivery
  • Recommended additional features providing high value with low effort (personalization, offline-first)
  • Adapted UX for tablet usage in addition to smartphones

This collaborative work allowed us to focus on key features and deliver value in record time.

Discovery First

Rapid Development in FlutterFlow

After workshops and scope definition, we moved to implementation in FlutterFlow. What we delivered:

  • Onboarding with language selection and feature walkthrough
  • Dashboard with museum search and visit continuation
  • Audio guide personalization system (language, group type, time preferences)
  • Player with playlist and audio transcription
  • Artwork descriptions and artist biographies
  • Account settings with preference survey
  • Offline-first architecture for smooth internet-free operation
  • Responsive interface for smartphones and tablets
  • Editable museums and content

Every component was designed with usability simplicity and scalability to additional museums in mind.
