We conducted a strategic workshop with the founders, during which we:

Mapped the complete app flow: select start and landing locations (address or map point) → choose helicopter type (small 1-3 people vs large 1-4 people) → select date and time → dynamic pricing including travel from main airport → submit booking
Defined the pricing algorithm: calculations include distance from company headquarters (main airport) to client pickup point and to destination, accounting for average helicopter speed and hourly flight rate
Used MoSCoW method (Must, Should, Could, Won't) to precisely define MVP scope – focusing on key features delivering business value
Defined key admin panel functions: parameter management (speed, hourly rates for each helicopter type), helipad/airport management, and booking handling (accept, accept with notes, reject)
Specified UX requirements: users must receive complete information – total distance, flight time, estimated arrival time, and final cost

The workshop resulted in a precise functionality map and clearly defined priorities that allowed us to meet the demanding 4-week timeline.

Building with React + Supabase

With scope locked, we:

Leveraged Supabase as backend 'out of the box' – focusing on data modeling instead of infrastructure
Built component-based architecture with reusable React 'blocks'
Used Edge Functions for complex pricing logic without building entire server application
Integrated Google Maps API for precise distance calculations and logistics
